Find out if the TRIM-EBC clinical trial is right for you
Form Title
What is TRIM-EBC?
The TRIM-EBC* clinical trial is studying whether weight loss from Zepbound® (tirzepatide) can lower the risk of breast cancer recurrence by reducing or clearing circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA).
How is ctDNA related to breast cancer?
Research has shown that people living with early-stage breast cancer who test positive for circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in their blood are at a higher risk for breast cancer recurrence.
People with obesity or who are overweight are also at an increased risk for breast cancer recurrence.
Who can participate in TRIM-EBC?
People who meet the following criteria may be eligible. These are the key requirements. There may be additional criteria the study team uses to determine eligibility.
-
You have ER-positive, HER2-negative, lymph node–positive, early breast cancer
-
You have obesity or are overweight with a BMI over 27 kg/m2
-
You test positive for ctDNA in the blood
-
You are not living with recurrent or metastatic cancer
